1 Introduction

Welcome to Quote2Go: Invoice & Billing ("the App", "we", "our", or "us"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our mobile application available on Google Play and the Apple App Store.

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and agree to the collection and use of information as described herein.

Important: Quote2Go: Invoice & Billing is a document management application designed for business use. Your data - including business documents, customer information, and product details - is stored primarily on your own device. We take privacy seriously and do not sell your personal data to third parties.

2 Information We Collect

2.1 Account Information

When you create an account or sign in, we collect:

  • Email address
  • Display name (optional)
  • Phone number (optional)
  • Profile photo (optional)
  • Authentication method (email/password, Google, or Apple)

2.2 Business Data You Provide

The App allows you to enter and manage business-related information, including:

  • Company/business name, address, contact details, and GST/tax information
  • Customer names, contact information, addresses, and tax numbers
  • Product or service names, descriptions, prices, HSN codes, and stock data
  • Quotations, invoices, purchase orders, proforma invoices, delivery notes, and receipts you create
  • Payment records, payment status, and transaction details
  • Terms and conditions text you define
  • Bank account details and UPI ID for payment instructions in documents
  • Company logo and authorised signature images

2.3 Device and Usage Information

  • Device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers
  • App version and crash or error logs
  • General usage patterns and feature interactions
  • Internet connectivity status

2.4 Files and Media

With your permission, the App may access your device's camera and photo gallery to allow you to upload logos, signatures, and product images. Generated PDF documents are saved to your device's local storage.

We do not use your data for targeted advertising and we do not profile you for marketing purposes.

4 Data Storage and Security

4.1 Local Storage

The majority of your data - including all business documents, customers, products, terms, and company information - is stored locally on your device using an encrypted SQLite database. Generated PDF files are also saved to your device's internal storage. This data remains on your device and is not transmitted to our servers unless you explicitly enable cloud sync features.

4.2 Cloud Storage (Supabase)

Your account authentication data (email, display name, phone number, profile photo URL) is stored on our cloud backend powered by Supabase - a SOC 2 Type II compliant infrastructure provider. All data in transit is encrypted using TLS/HTTPS. Data at rest is encrypted using AES-256 encryption.

4.3 Security Measures

  • Encrypted data transmission (TLS 1.2+)
  • Encrypted cloud database storage
  • Secure authentication tokens with expiry
  • Offline-capable account sign-out for disconnected scenarios
  • No plaintext storage of passwords

5 Sharing of Information

We do not sell, trade, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing or commercial purposes. We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service Providers: Trusted third-party providers (such as Supabase and Firebase) solely to operate and improve the App. These providers are contractually bound to process your data only as instructed by us.
  • Legal Requirements: When required by applicable law, regulation, or governmental authority.
  • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with prior notice to you before your data becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
  • Protection of Rights: When necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of the App, our users, or the public.

7 Data Retention

  • Local data: Stored on your device until you uninstall the App or manually delete it within the App.
  • Account data (cloud): Retained for as long as your account is active. Deletion requests are processed within 30 days.
  • Crash and analytics logs: Retained for a maximum of 90 days.

8 Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable laws (GDPR, CCPA, India's DPDP Act) including:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data via Settings → Account, or by contacting us.
  • Portability: Request a portable copy of your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Withdraw Consent: Withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing.
  • Object to Processing: Object to certain types of processing, including direct marketing.

We will respond to all legitimate requests within 30 days.

9 Children's Privacy

Quote2Go: Invoice & Billing is intended for users aged 13 or older (or the applicable age of digital consent in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information without parental consent, please contact us immediately and we will delete such information.

10 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and provide notice within the App or by email before changes take effect. Your continued use of the App after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
